Love regardless (2012)

Love Regardless is a documentary about multicultural relationships and the challenges faced by those involved. It focuses on both the positives and negatives of being attached to somebody of a different background, culture or religion.

The plot reveals an insight of the couples’ romance and everyday life, as well as intimate details of family challenges caused by cultural differences and how to tackle those, while remaining true to their own culture.

I was brought in to both film and edit the various interviews of the piece. We started by created a draft edit for each couple, and then from there we created a more structured feature piece.

The final edit was broadcast on the Community Channel and also won an award at the Ukraine Film Festival in the same year.
